3 things Gratitude will give you.

I believe most people love it when someone expresses gratitude towards them, for any reason, be it because you helped financially or maybe you drove their child to hospital when things were not going well for them. Fact is most of us love or enjoy it when people express gratitude.

We would even do more than we are asked the next time simply because they praise us for what we do for them. If us being mankind would go an extra mile because of the gratitude, what more of God ? I’d like to share with you the 3 things God will do for you if you express gratitude.

1. Multiplication

Many of us complain about what we do not have and what we have not gotten out of life. We even compare our lives with our former classmate, our church mates and cousins.

We should be praising God for the little that He has given to us, so that what we have might be multiplied. When Jesus fed the 5000 He took the little that He had (2 fish and 5 loaves) and praised God for it and instantly it was multiplied (John 6:1-14).
Likewise I would suggest you do the same in your life, praise Him for the little that you have ,Yes you are not married yet, but thank Him you met a good person, you might not be permanent at work, thank Him that you working part-time.

2. Restoration

Jesus heals 10 men of leprosy, leprosy was a sickness that took away your body parts such as fingers…(Luke 17:11-25)
From the 10 men only 1 came back to Jesus and thanked Him for healing him. And Jesus said to him because you came back to thank me, you are now made whole. Meaning all the body parts that he has lost were restored unto him.

What have you lost in your life and God stopped the loss? Give Him praise and honor for it and all that you have lost shall be restored.

3. Breaking down strong walls

For the Israelites to enter Jericho they needed to break down the great walls that kept them out. It might not be a physical wall that you are facing, it may be a wall of rejection, poverty or sickness you name it. Like the children of Israel praised and worshiped for 7 days (Joshua 6:1-10), do the same with your own life. Praise him for what He says about your life in the bible.
That you are rich through Christ (2 Corinthians 8:9)
That you through the strips of Jesus Christ you are healed (2 Peter 2:24)

The word only works in our lives if we apply it practically and do as it says.

How to banish fear

Fear is a prison in which one can be held, most of us do not advance in life because of fear. Here is a list of different types of fears that you might be experiencing.

FEAR FOR CHANGE

This is when you must start a new journey in your life and you fear getting out of your comfort zone. Perhaps you must get married and you fear sharing your life with someone else, you start thinking of all the negative that can happen. Or maybe you want to quit your job and start your own business, and you think of all the reasons why it will not work. This is the reason why I say it’s a prison because you will never move if you dwell on such thoughts. (Philippians 4:8)

FEAR OF FAILURE

Sometimes because we have failed before we assume we will fail again. It is imperative to apply or put into practice the wisdom we have gained from our past failures to do a better job next time.

FEAR FOR SUCCESS

This is when you do not have confidence that you have enough skill or knowledge that you can manage the success you anticipate. I believe God would not have brought you to that level of success if He did not trust that you are able to manage it. God does not promote you if you not ready, therefore if you get that promotion you’ve been seeking for just know that you are ready for it.
Remember fear and faith cannot co-exist. Decide today to demolish fear in your heart, by declaring these scriptures in your life everyday.
• 2 Timothy 1:7
• Isaiah 43:1
• Psalm 18:2
• 1 john 4:18
• Deuteronomy 31:8

When tragedy strikes

When we lose people or things in our lives,we tend to think God has forsook us.

God trains us differently, why is this ?we are not called to do the same things in life,a soccer player and a wrestler won’t be trained the same way. Their function are different therefore the training will be aswell.

The speed which is used is also not the same, for some it takes a year and some two maybe three or four…it all depends on our function or purpose in the body of Christ, God says He will never tempt us above our strength (1 corinthians 10:13)

Storms are tailer made for each one of us,to give wisdom as we advance in life. Sometimes through a storm we are taught the fundamentals of being a father, businessman,a husband,a wife, manager the list goes on and on and on.

Every storm comes with a lesson, but many of us miss the lesson because we are so focused on the pain it comes with.

I am not saying its not painful or challenging, however i am saying, how we approach the challenge can either break or make us.
