3 things Gratitude will give you.

I believe most people love it when someone expresses gratitude towards them, for any reason, be it because you helped financially or maybe you drove their child to hospital when things were not going well for them. Fact is most of us love or enjoy it when people express gratitude.

We would even do more than we are asked the next time simply because they praise us for what we do for them. If us being mankind would go an extra mile because of the gratitude, what more of God ? I’d like to share with you the 3 things God will do for you if you express gratitude.

1. Multiplication

Many of us complain about what we do not have and what we have not gotten out of life. We even compare our lives with our former classmate, our church mates and cousins.

We should be praising God for the little that He has given to us, so that what we have might be multiplied. When Jesus fed the 5000 He took the little that He had (2 fish and 5 loaves) and praised God for it and instantly it was multiplied (John 6:1-14).
Likewise I would suggest you do the same in your life, praise Him for the little that you have ,Yes you are not married yet, but thank Him you met a good person, you might not be permanent at work, thank Him that you working part-time.

2. Restoration

Jesus heals 10 men of leprosy, leprosy was a sickness that took away your body parts such as fingers…(Luke 17:11-25)
From the 10 men only 1 came back to Jesus and thanked Him for healing him. And Jesus said to him because you came back to thank me, you are now made whole. Meaning all the body parts that he has lost were restored unto him.

What have you lost in your life and God stopped the loss? Give Him praise and honor for it and all that you have lost shall be restored.

3. Breaking down strong walls

For the Israelites to enter Jericho they needed to break down the great walls that kept them out. It might not be a physical wall that you are facing, it may be a wall of rejection, poverty or sickness you name it. Like the children of Israel praised and worshiped for 7 days (Joshua 6:1-10), do the same with your own life. Praise him for what He says about your life in the bible.
That you are rich through Christ (2 Corinthians 8:9)
That you through the strips of Jesus Christ you are healed (2 Peter 2:24)

The word only works in our lives if we apply it practically and do as it says.

Truly we are the first prophets of our own destinies and we ought to be grateful for the good and bad because our King Jesus is right beside us. Gratitude makes you humble and shows that you acknowledge where the source of your help comes from. I love reading articles that educate me in my walk with God😊. Thank you sir…
